pics from the last two weeks. I know, kind of lame, but I don't have much here as I lost the entire weekend plus Monday to the nasty stomach bug that's been going around. You know the one..... lots of puking and general queasiness. I wish I could say I lost weight, but I highly doubt it.
Number One Son and his friend on Halloween night. Yeah, he was a white-boy version of Flava Flav. @@ Hey, I pick and choose my battles. This one I didn't pick. In my defense, that was the same day I was diagnosed with a raging kidney infection. I was clearly not in my right mind.

I can't figure out how to rotate this one, which is a shame, because Darling Daughter is just too cute. So, turn your head to the side and check out her abs! She definitely did not inherit them from me. Or DH either, honestly.

The last soccer game of the season. November 1 and beautiful weather.

The last football game of the season - more beautiful weather. I think it hit 70 degree that day. Number One Son is the TALL one in the middle, number 58

When I went to Number One Son's hockey practice last week, I was feeling too sick to hang at the bar, so I watched the action on the other rinks. This one had the speed skating club practicing. Unfortunately, 10 minutes later, one of them took a header into the (padded) wall and did serious enough damage that she was taken out in a neck brace on a back board by the EMS crew and taken to the hospital. I think she (he?) was unconscious. :-(

This is what my Darling Daughter does when she should be doing homework or cleaning her room. It was the first day of snow here and she thought the poor tortured cat needed a sweater and boots, borrowed from her Poochie Pup. Poor thing.

That's all folks - I have lots of comments and blogs to catch up on, as well as cleaning and decluttering.
PS - I made the eggnog cheesecake bars, and they TOTALLY ROCK!

I'm glad you are up and around again! I'm pretending to be better, though my GI tract still occasionally, loudly disagrees with me. :P
I totally thought Hubby would love the idea of the eggnog cheesecake bars but he is leaning towards pecan pralines, which are pretty dang easy using the microwaveable recipe we discovered a few years back. I think I may make the ECBs just for us this weekend (now that the thought of food doesn't send me running for the bathroom) and see what he thinks then. :) Heck, if he doesn't like 'em, then that's just more for me, because I'm convinced I've lost weight from this stupid bug. I haven't been back to the gym or on a scale since I got sick, but I'm going with the power of positive thinking..... :D
I'm glad you're feeling somewhat human again. I've missed you!
I loved the costumes, even the cat's, but I did feel sorry for him(her) because cats hate to have things on their feet! LOL.
Your daughter is such a cutie.
as a former soccer player who looked like that way back in the day .. tell your daughter to never stop running even after she stops playing (if she ever stops playing) ... all those muscles turn to fat and its not pretty on your thighs :) ... although I guess this isnt the sort of thing we need to tell our children with the eating disorders being all the rage ..... so, disregard
I love random posting! I love the pics you post. First of all... Flava Flav is the funniest costume I saw this year along with the "Whoppie Cushion (did I spell that right?)
Your daughter has some rockin abs! My brother used to put tape on the bottom of our cats' feet when my mom was gone.... it was kinda mean, but sooooo funny. I like the clothes though. My little Yorkie, Kasey gets cold so he has a few of "doggie clothes." Love the other sports pics... you are a really good photographer!
Glad you are feeling better.
The trick to the cards is.......the bottom ones are not the same number/suit as the top. So the ones on top will never be on the bottom.
:)
K!!
You are back!! Great pics, love the costumes..
AND the review on the cheesecake bars- they are already on my TG menu
Have you had a sighting of the bloggy box of goodness? I have a pile of things to send on to LV in NY (does she like dogs?)
xo

blogger ate my comment, but what I said was LOL @ the cat - my childhood cat would have disemboweled anyone who attempted such a thing.
