Is it because they play on sand? Or is it just gratuitous skin? I would think with all that diving and jumping, you would want an outfit that wouldn't have the possibility of riding up or allowing sand to enter your nether regions.I'm just sayin' I'd think a tankini top and boy shorts would be more practical.

Oh, I don't think the women's clothing is coincidence, lol. No more so than Phelp's swimsuit being about as low as it can go without showing off to the world. :)
