And the house is still trashed. I should be embarrassed.
I'm still treading water - no drowning - in kids' camp stuff. I have to pack it all up and take them to in the Adirondacks tomorrow, so it'll have to be gone then, anyway. I mean they're taking most of it with them.
Yikes! Tomorrow! I totally have so much sorting to do. And I have to pack another set of clothes and supplies because they'll be visiting family at the cabin in the Adirondacks after camp.
My brother will be picking them up at camp - that gives me a little anxiety because I'm always afraid they won't pack up everything. Luckily, I usually make them take their cruddiest t-shirts and towels so it doesn't matter if they lose them.
But that just means they'll lose a pillow or a shoe (yes, just one) or a flashlight, etc. I know, it's not a big deal, it's just annoying. And I was kidding about the anxiety, you know that, right?
So anyway, last night, we took a break. Number One Son and his friend went to see The Mummy and Darling Daughter and I went to see The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. A little over DD's head in some parts (thankfully) but a cute story about girlfriends nonetheless.
And if you read my Twitter or Facebook, I was KIDDING about the alcohol. I am a responsible parent when my kids have sleepovers. Really. Although my house is a mess and I fell asleep on the couch with the computer (no alcohol involved!)

I think we're all in the midst of the end-of-summer mayhem. Soon, the kids will be in school and things will calm down again!
