Random stuff, in no particular order about no particular subject(s) whatever.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

...oh, and don't be fooled. I often ramble here several times a day. Really, I know I should be doing something else - but don't TELL.

A new leaf

I started jogging last night.

Well, sort of.

I half-walked, half-jogged with dd around the block last night.

I got all red in the face and hot and sweaty, and huffin' and puffin. I'm pretty sure a few neighbors snickered when I went by.

DD ran circles around me. Backwards. Little snot.

Just kidding, she's a good exercise buddy and actually reminded me of some good stuff during our warm-ups. She learned it in gym class. She has boundless energy and a perfect body. She'll be 10 this month and already has started talking about her jiggly thighs@@ I have ot nip this in the bud. First, because she's perfect, and second, because I want her to be happy with and respect her body.

Any way. I'm about to do it again, and it's even more humid.

I'm procrastinating, as you can see. For good reason. I'd rather have a cold beer. But this is better for me in the long run.

I'll let you know if I make it back.

Good for you. If it's as humid there as it is here, I'm sure that puts a damper on the motivation.

Just about anything puts a damper on me running, lol. I have done it off and on, but I don't stick with it. I've started walking to get Maddie from school and then back to get Allison... so that's 2 miles.

Fast walking is as good as running. If you gio three miles it is 3 miles. It takes almost the same energy walking or running. Nice boat. Mine is a 26 Maxum in the ocean.

Thanks, nudeman. So far, I'm only going about a mile and a half, but it's a start.

Where on the ocean? We took our boat to the Long Island Sound last summer (a good thing because we never could afford it this summer). The sound was fun, but I will never do the canal (Erie) again! That was torture.
