been up for an hour.
Yup, it's currently 5 AM Eastern time. The birds are starting to chirp, but it's still pitch black out.
It's just me and the cats. I might have to do this more often. It's too early for coffee (I never thought I'd write THAT), but I'm loving the quiet and serenity.
DH left for 3 days in Philly, so he left the house at 4 AM. And while I wasn't really awake when he left, I wasn't asleep enough to to just stay in bed.
So here I am.
Just me and my thoughts and my laptop. Slowly, waking up enough to play a gazillionth game of Word Twist on Facebook. Everyone else is still asleep though, so my turns are over. :-(
And my turns on Scrabulous (addicted!), Scramble, Pathwords and Bubblewords.
Hmmm, wonder why I'm never caught up on laundry and cleaning? :-) But, hey! I'm doing important work here - I'm taking proactove steps to ward off brain atrophy and dementia. :-) Maybe even Alzheimer's.
I'm a little jealous of all of you who keep counting down the days (like 2 or 3) until your kids are out of school - we have a whole 'nother month here!
Off to get coffee - enjoy the day!

I woke up around 4:30 this morning and just felt "awake", but I forced myself to snooze off and on until 6:30 (and I am NOT a morning person). I have a game of Scramble on Facebook to play (my turn), I need to get to that today! Email me and I'll give you my Facebook info. :-)
Sorry 'bout the 1 more month of school - that doesn't seem fair!
I was awakened around that time this morning by a certain 5 year old, but I convinced her to curl up and go back to sleep... and so did I! The girls don't get out of school until the 18th.
