... we took our boat out.
This one.

Yeah, it's pretty sweet. It's called "Over The Top", which is fitting.
It's almost embarrassing.
But we've been boating forever, and started out with a 22 foot cuddy cabin, so we've paid out dues; including an 11 night trip across lake Ontario and up the St. Lawrence Seaway to Montreal with a 2 year old on the 22 foot boat.
With a Lot. of. Rain. 'Nuf said.
So, many boats later (31 foot used, 33 foot new, 36 foot new - over 15 plus years), we've graduated to a 36 foot boat, with more design and style than my modest house.
I have blue laminate kitchen countertops and cheap doors at home - the boat has granite counters and cherry wood.
Anyway. Not a huge trip, just to the river, but the night was perfect (well, except for the pesky pinched-nerve-in-my-neck thing that's bugging me) and we met friends at a free lakeside concert at the "beach".
I say "beach" because if I say beach, you might think that I'm at the shore or something. This is a beach on Lake Ontario. fresh water, no surf.
Anyway the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra was playing. We had wine, we had friends. We had a little picnic dinner on the boat. It was very nice.

Yeah, our camping trailer is way nicer than our house, LOL.
As for the cookies, it's super complicated as well. Buy a bag of Skor Chips (or Heath Chips) and follow the directions on the back. I drizzle mine with melted chocolate because I believe in being as fat as possible.
WHAT THE HECK?????????? hey! I was never even on your "smaller" boats!! LOL.congrats! Love it. :)
I love the bigger boats. Fun!
