Holy Crap, my son's Little League team own their division championship!
They beat the number 2 ranked team (my sons team was in first place, but had lost twice to this team in the regular season). The final score was 18-10! Number One Son's team started out strong with 5 runs in the first inning and 5 runs in the second inning. Then they let a few runs slide in, but came back to a strong finish.
The parents organized a tailgate party for after the game and we celebrated in style. What a great season!
It's late and I just dropped the kids off on our boat and now I have several hours of packing, laundry and cleaning ahead of me before we leave tomorrow. I'll post pictures when we get to our marina - hopefully they'll be wifi access.
We leave at 5:30 AM for our boat trip to the 1000 Islands and Kingston -should be fun.
