Did I mention that I'm a great-aunt? Yup. I know that can't be right because great-aunts are like, 73 or 87 and they have candy dishes on their coffee tables and crocheted doilies on the arms of their couches. I'm 46. I have a Facebook and MySpace account. (yes, it's true, I don't know why). I wear lower-rise bootleg jeans, NOT mom jeans. How can I be a great-aunt?
Regardless, I'm ecstatic about the healthy birth of my great-nephew baby Joseph, even though my niece was only like 7 or 8 when I met her. *I certainly haven't aged, so how did she grow up so fast? ;-)
It's still raining here and we're just killing time before we need to leave for the airport. Our flight isn't until later this evening. I can't wait to see Desmond (not until tomorrow, sadly) and Koala and Tobey, and even the mice (Mr. Whiskers and Buddyscotch) and the fish - I don't remember their names - sorry.
Oh, there I am.
